Paul Weiser
Trumpet
|
Paul Weiser has been playing trumpet in one form or fashion since he was 9 years old. Whether it was the high school jazz band, drum corps, church orchestra, or local dance bands, Paul was sure to be found playing trumpet somewhere. When not playing trumpet, Paul could be found listening for hours to great players such as Maynard Ferguson, Chuck Mangione, and Herb Alpert. More recently, Paul has been serving as the Director of the University of New Orleans Basketball Pep Band, also known as the Blue Zoo. His screaming trumpet has been a part of West End since 1999." |
