Maryjane

Maryjane was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She moved to New Orleans when she was 16 years old. A natural performer, Maryjane has been singing and dancing since she was 9 years old. She has performed in off-Broadway productions, and has always enjoyed the entertainment field and being in the public eye. She was choreographer and dancer of the New Orleans Saints sideline dancers, The Saints Angels. In 1992, West End was searching for a female vocalist and called Maryjane. Maryjane met with the band, sang a few songs and was offered the vocalist/front person position that very night. Since then, she has been a mainstay as vocalist for West End as well as performing with many other local groups. She has also worked with national artist such as Ronnie Cole, Lenny McDaniel and Jean Knight. If high energy and strong vocals are something you like, than you are going to love Maryjane and West End. |
